Prescribing Without Pain: Better Communication and Improvisational Skills:

Longer Description: The benefits of learning improvisation to help develop better communication skills are huge. Think about it, improvisers are great listeners; applying improve techniques greatly increases the capacity to actively listen and respond.

In this workshop experience you will focus on hyperactive listening – to not only hear the words that another player is offering, but to also understand the emotional context of what they mean. We work in exercises to teach flexibility in actions and responses in improv, in business and in daily life.

How we talk and when we talk are also part of the communication equation and this workshop examines the subtle signals that may be sabatoguing your attempts to be clear.

Through exercises and fun, interactive games you will write your own prescription for better communication skills and won’t require a needle.

Workshop/seminar length: 1 hour, 4 hour or all day session.

Group size: 20 average – larger groups require extra instructors.
