Diversity for better Team Building & Effectiveness
Working Better Together:
Longer Description: We could spend some time here telling you what you get out of learning to improvise but instead we thought we would share what one of our participants learned. Barb Little wrote us what she learned following our workshop.
“Everyday Applications of Working Better Together Improvisation”
* Don’t get attached to the outcome.
* Accept everything you are offered with gratitude and enthusiasm.
* Don’t let others falter – rescue
* Stride forward with confidence even when you don’t know what you will do or what you will say.
* Action can be the spark for words.
* The censor is always the saboteur – act and speak before you think rather than the other way around.
* Deep breathing is important to staying in the present moment.
* You can not walk through a closed door.
* Are things getting boring? Break the routine – get physical, get vocal, or get emotional.
* Ask yourself these questions;
o Who am I?
o Where am I?
o What do I want?
o What am I doing?
* Listen to your inner voice (your impulse)
* SAY YES
